Making Sense of 
Children & Young People

Workshops that support those caring for or working with children and young people to make sense of challenging behaviours and to find practical ways to respond to them.

Topics include understanding and responding to:

  • impulsive and sensation-seeking behaviours
  • defiance and controlling behaviours
  • manipulation and safety-seeking behaviours
  • attention / attachment-seeking behaviours
  • young produced sexual images (sexting)

 

Supporting Children & Young People to Thrive

Workshops that provide those caring for or working with children and young people with practical ideas to support them to thrive.

Topics include supporting children and young people to:

  • regulate emotions
  • deal with friendships issues and bullying
  • understand personal safety
  • improve self-esteem
  • building resilience

 

 

COST:

From £80 per hour.

Reduced rates are available for charities and third sector organisations, 

DURATION:

The length of the workshop can be arranged to meet your needs.

LOCATION:

Small groups can be hosted in Southend-on-Sea or at a venue provided by you.
