One-to-One Support

One-to-one support is suitable for children, young people and young adults with additional needs.

Across a series of sessions, children, young people and young adults have the opportunity to identify and set goals around aspects of their lives that feel challenging. This might include difficulties regulating emotions, problems maintaining healthy and safe friendships or relationships, issues with certain types of situations, or anything else that is hindering their ability to live a productive and enriching life.

One-to-one support is suitable for children and young people aged 6-17, including those with additional needs, such as learning disabilities and neurodivergencies. This type of support can also be adapted to be suitable for young adults with additional needs.

COST:

Option 1:  £40 per 50-minute session

Option 2:  A concessionary rate of £30 per 50-minute session is available for lower income families. This is not means tested and no proof of income is required. Just ask for Option 2.

DURATION:

The number of session depends on the person's individual needs. For some people 6-8 sessions is enough to develop skills and to learn techniques to meet their goals. For other people, a longer intervention is more appropriate.

LOCATION:

Face-to-face sessions are facilitated at a venue in Southend-on-Sea town centre.
