Advocacy

Independent advocacy offers support for children, young people and the adults who care for them to ensure their views are heard and their rights are respected.

Helen specialises in supporting parents and caregivers of children and young people who have been subjected to gender-based discrimination or sexual violence, or who have been accused of gender-based violence or sexual violence, to get appropriate support in the education system.

This might include information about statutory guidance and the rights and responsibilities of children, young people, their parents/caregivers, and the professionals who work with them.

Please note, independent advocacy is not legal advice.

How does it work?

  1. Book a free consultation to discuss your needs.

  2. Book a free initial meet-up where the child or young person in your life can meet Helen, either online or face-to-face.

  3. Work together to decide the support that would be most useful.
